This swarthy version of Iceberg possesses the same vigor, disease resistance, and bloom strength that made Iceberg world famous.
Abundantly floriferous, Burgundy Iceberg flowers all summer long, producing showy clusters of burgundy double blooms with a cream reverse, filling garden and vase with rich, highly unusual color and a mild honey scent from late spring until the cool fall weather sets in.
The color depends on the climate, with darker coloring in cooler temperatures. Although quite content in climates with short, cool summers, it is very tolerant of heat and humidity, so it is a great choice for the South and Southwest.
If you have never grown a rose before, Burgundy Iceberg is a splendid way to begin. If you're a seasoned rosarian, you can count on this cultivar to be one of the highest-performing and most trouble-free varieties in your garden.
Potted in a 3-gallon container.
